About This Dog for Adoption

Cassandra's ideal home

Beautiful lady Cassandra has come into our care with very little previous history. She has been truly a delight to care for since arriving with us and loves nothing more than snuggling up with her carers and getting all the love and attention she deserves. Cassandra would love to find a patient family who can help her learn how amazing home life can be. This will include some ongoing training in areas such as housetraining and learning how to spend time home alone. She could live with children of 8+ who are calm and understanding as she can be a bit of a worried girlie at times. It doesn't take long until she's melted into your arms for all the snuggles she deserves! We're currently still assessing Cassandra's interactions with other dogs, so she will need to be the only pet in her forever home. This may change as we get to know more about her.

Could you be Cassandra's perfect match?

Cassandra is a sweet lady who enjoys a tasty treat, she already knows a few tricks like "sit", "paw" and "down" and we don't think it'll take her long to pick up even more! She doesn't quite know her size and things herself quite the lapdog, so would love to find a family who don't mind sharing space on the sofa.

Cane Corso Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cane Corso.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cane Corso Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
