About This Dog for Adoption

Loki's ideal home

Loki is looking for a loving home that can keep up with his playful, cheeky personality and provide consistent guidance as he continues to learn about the world. As a young, food-motivated Italian Corso, he’ll thrive with adopters who are keen to continue his training. Loki could potentially live with another friendly dog if well matched and would benefit from owners who are understanding of puppy-like behaviours such as occasional jumping or mouthing. Taking time to build up leaving hours would help Loki settle into his new life.

Could you be Loki's perfect match?

Loki is a bright, bouncy boy with a lot of love to give. He’s already picked up his basic training and will happily show off his sit, down, and drop for a tasty snack. Loki loves toys, particularly games of fetch and tug, and while he can get a little overexcited, he’s eager to learn and responds well to guidance. He enjoys fuss and attention, travels well in a harness, and is a star in the vet room (once he's stopped asking for cuddles and attention). Loki is a clever, affectionate young lad who just needs a family to help him reach his full potential.

Cane Corso Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cane Corso.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cane Corso Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
