About This Dog for Adoption

Kaye's ideal home

Kaye is a playful 1YR old Crossbreed who was handed over to us through no fault of his own. Being rehomed at his young age has left him a little wary of new people, but he soon comes around after a few meets, and plenty of tasty treats!. He is social with other dogs out and about but would need to be the only dog in the home for now. He will need a calm household where there wont be lots of visitors and a secure garden will be needed so he can brush up on his housetraining. Part of his settling training involves him having his own space, so an open plan home will not be suitable. *SCROLL THROUGH KAYE'S PICS TO SEE A VIDEO OF HIM IN ACTION!*

Could you be Kaye's perfect match?

Kaye has come on leaps and bounds with his training and in a home where he'll continue learning he'll really flourish. He's a friendly lad but just needs a little space when he first meets you. Once there is a relationship, he's playful and enjoys a good cuddle too! He enjoys his walkies but will need to walk in quieter areas initially as he builds his confidence. With a little time and patience, young Kaye will soon be an asset to his family.

Cane Corso Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Cane Corso.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Cane Corso Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
