About This Dog for Adoption

Axle's ideal home

Meet Axle! A big puppy, with an even bigger personality! This handsome boy has so much love to give and will certainly bring lots of smiles to his forever family. He doesn't quite know his own size and can be strong on the lead when he find a sniff so will need owners who can hold him. He's still got some growing to do and is a very clever boy, so will need owners committed to continuing his education and he would likely benefit from a family who are willing to engage in training with him. He's a bit of a mischievous boy and has been known to open doors in the house. We are currently still assessing his dog interactions, so for now he will need to be the only pet but would benefit from having ongoing socialisation. Axle has been in a home before where he was housetrained, but he might need a refresher after settling back into his forever home. He wasn't too used to being left, so we recommend this is gradually built up leaving him with things to do and once he's properly mentally and physically stimulated. Axle could live with confident children of 8+ who are confident around big bouncy dogs.

Could you be Axle's perfect match?

Axle is a simply wonderful boy who will bring so much fun to his forever family. He greets everyone he meets with a happy waggy tail! Axle does have history of living with a cat, so could live with a confident dog-savvy cat in his forever home.
