Mavis's ideal home
Meet magnificent Mavis who is big gorgeous girlie ready to find her forever home. She's come into our care after being found as a stray, so we unfortunately don't know too much about her history. We think she may have lived in a home previously however she may need some help settling into a home environment and mastering things like housetraining and learning how to be left home alone. Mavis has been a delight to care for and loves fuss and snuggles from her favourite people. She loves rolling around in the sunshine and playing with toys. Mavis is still a youngster and is working on her manners here at the centre so would be best suited to children 14+ who are confident around larger bouncy dogs. We're currently still assessing Mavis' interactions with other dogs so she will need to be the only pet for now, however this may change in the future as we learn more about her.

Mavis is a truly wonderful girlie with lots of love (and slobber) to give her forever family. She loves her food and this is coming in very handy for her ongoing training and learning new things, like wearing a muzzle for when she sees the vet. Mavis does have some ongoing medical needs which are currently being managed with medication. Our teams would be happy to discuss her needs with any potential adopters.
