Poppy's ideal home

Poppy is looking for a calm and predictable home with active adopters who can take her on fun & sniffy adventures in quieter areas away from busy roads – she loves exploring the woods and the fields and feels much more relaxed exploring these places. She can live with secondary school aged children who understand that she can be a little worried at times and will give her space to rest when needed. Poppy can be a little worried but does get confidence from other dogs so she would benefit from living with an established dog who can show her the ropes, though this is not essential, but she could have walking buddies who will let him approach at his pace and enjoy play once she’s settled. Poppy has some training under her belt, she does a lovely “sit”, “paw” and “spin”! She is a clever girl and is super food-motivated, which is beneficial for her training. She likes to potter and explore in peace so access to a private, secure garden is needed. Poppy was previously left for a couple of hours in her previous, but any leaving time would need to be built up slowly once she has had time to settle in. Poppy will need to meet her adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Sweet & sensitive Corso cross Staff Poppy is an 8 month old girl who loves to snuggle once she knows you. Once she comes out of her shell she is super playful and loves her toys! Poppy is always eager to show you her tricks in exchange for a tasty snack and would love to learn more!
